Who We Are As the construction industry booms around the UK, Martec Engineering’s focus is on providing high quality steel and stainless steel solutions to the private and public sector. Our skills span across a wide range of products and services, with the capability to fulfill almost any order size. Martec Engineering has been shaping metal for more than 10 years after as founded in 1996 by Martin McHugh. As a trained welder with entrepreneurial spirit, Martin identified a gap in the market for high quality steel products and embarked on establishing Martec Engineering. 10 years later the company employs over 70 skills shop floor colleagues, a further 20 office based staff, and fulfills contracts all over the UK. Some of Martec Engineering's key clients include Miller Construction, Thomas Johnstone, Glasgow City Council and Coca-Cola Enterprises. Martec Engineering is part of a group of companies which also includes, Marfix – a fixtures, fittings and PPE supplier and Taymore – manufacturers of roller shutters. |
