Martec Engineering Win Aldi Contract

Martec Engineering are delighted to announce their involvement with world leading grocery retailers – Aldi.

The six figure contract involves the manufacture and installation of bespoke stainless steel items within three new build Aldi stores in Scotland.  Martec Engineering will provide all metal work within the Aldi stores including trolley bays, bicycle stands, protection barriers, guard rails, mesh gratings and various balustrading and handrails.  Martec's programme of work begins on 1st May and the contract will run until September.

Mace Ltd, an international construction and project management company, is the main contractor on the project.  Martec Engineering and Mace have worked together on previous contracts including the construction of Royal Bank of Scotland Headquarters at Gogarburn, Edinburgh.

Martin McHugh, of Martec Engineering, believes that working with Aldi is a huge boost to Martec's presence within the retail industry:
